Examinations were conducted in the city of Yerevan and RA regions based on the assignment of Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General, to find out the status of state interest protection in the water users association operating in the Republic. The examinations were carried out within two months. 

 

The results of examination of the audit conducted by the Water Committee of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Audit Chamber carried out by the Department of the State Interest Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office formed a basis for Anna Vardapetyan’s assignment 

 

Particularly, by the examinations carried out in “Armavir” and “Etchmiadzin” water users’ association appropriation of other people's property, forgery of official documents granting rights or exempting from responsibility by a group of people with prior consent and cases of use of these documents were found out.

 

Based on the report submitted by the Department of the State Interest Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office, criminal proceedings were initiated in the RA Investigative Committee under point 3 of part 3 of article 256, point 2 of part 2 of article 277 and part 2 of article 457 of the RA criminal Code.
