A working group has been formed in the RA Prosecutor General's Office, the RA  Deputy Prosecutor General  Hayk Aslanyan has been appointed as its head.

 

The prosecutors of Yerevan and the administrative districts of the city of Yerevan have been instructed to discuss reports of electoral offenses and to take measures to resolve them within a short period of time.

 

The Prosecutor General assigned a task to the working group to work closely with the CEC, as well as provide information on electoral frauds and immediately provide information on criminal proceedings to the media, organizations involved in observation missions and other interested parties.

 

In order to improve the efficiency of the work, to  receive information on electoral violations, as well as ensure the rapid response to current issues, starting from August 29, a hotline will be available at the Yerevan Prosecutor’s Office at the telephone number 511-603, which will work from 09:00 to 19:00 on working days and 24 hours a day on voting day.
