In the first half of this year, the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia has began a study of the state of State interests protection in the process of fulfilling obligations by subsoil users to the State and communities.
The RA Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan has instructed to take all the measures envisaged by the law, to find out the reasons for non-fulfillment of obligations, to avoid possible deliberate avoidance of commitments, and to take steps with the competent state authorities to ensure the payment made by the subsoil users.
In order to fulfill the order of the RA Prosecutor General, the Department of State Interests Protection of the RA Prosecutor General's Office and on the basis of the report submitted to the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia, all subsoil users who have debts have been warned about the need of full fulfillment of their obligations.
In the past five months, as of 01.11.2018, out of commitments to the State and communities in the amount of 963 million drams, about 300 million have been recovered by the subsoil users.
The process of fulfillment of obligations by subsoil users continues.
